Trintiy Disco Dancing Club Contibnues Tonight

Rachel Dunne and her Trinity Disco Dancing Club
Boogie on Down with the Larriers!!

The girls have thoroughly enjoyed the classes organised by the Trinity College SVP Club every Wednesday in our school from 5pm till 7pm. Rachel's granny was a student in our school many years ago and she's back in '09 with her college friends to teach some groovy moves to your girls.

2nd and 3rd class girls take lessons from 5pm till 6pm while the older children are in from 6pm till 7pm.

Many thanks to all the Trinity students and to the girls who are having such a great time dancing together.

4th Class enjoy Cookery Classes

Cookery Classes Mondays After School for 4th Class with Ms Hughes

For the last number of weeks, Ms Hughes has been teaching 4th Class girls some essential cookery skills after school from 2.30pm to 3.30pm on a Monday.

So far the girls have been able to bring chocolate muffins, pizza and apple tart home for their parents to enjoy!

Well done to all the girls who are involved and to Ms Hughes who is putting Jamie Oliver to shame!!!

Trip to Imaginosity for Infants and 1st Class

Trip to Imaginosity for Infants and 1st Class has been organised for Tuesday the 27th of January. Imaginosity is a magical place in the Sandyford Industrial Estate and the children thoroughly enjoyed a visit there before Christmas.
A workshop from Sustainable Energy Ireland will be take place at 12.30pm and so the children may be a little late going home from school.
Again many thanks to Dublin Bus for organising the transport for us.

Elections for Student Council Announced

A new student council has been announced for
St Laurence O'Toole's Girls' School.

A council made up of 3 students from 5th Class and 3 from 6th class will be elected on Friday the 13th of February with the campaign starting the beginning of February.
