PARENTS CLEAN UP DAY – THANK YOU!!!
We would like to thank all those parents who made such an effort to come in on our clean up day last Thursday. It was a great effort and it has made a huge difference to the school environment.
Some parents were suggesting that they would like to come in on a regular basis and help with the school clean up and particularly with the garden. If you are interested please inform the school.
HEAD LICE – HOW’S YOUR HEAD??
Parents are encouraged to continually check their children’s head and hair and to treat any problems that may appear.
Head lice is a problem in every school and at every class level so it is extremely important that parents are continuously vigilant.
MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
A quick reminder to parents that the school will close next Friday week the 30th of April for a long Bank Holiday Weekend and will re-open on Wednesday the 5th of May.
There will also be a staff meeting on Friday the 30th of April so the children will be allowed home at 12noon.
St LAURENCE O’TOOLE’S I.T. STRATEGY:
As you will be aware, the girls have been attending computer lessons in the Christian Brothers School for the last number of years. We have now invested in €15,000 worth of I.T. equipment for the children and we are now able to offer those classes in our own school. We also wish to communicate with our parents through email also.
